Geschichte
In the final years of the Edo Period, Asagiri (Yumi Adachi), a popular prostitute, looks forward to her impending freedom from indentured service. During a local festival, she crosses paths with Hanjiro (Yasushi Fuchikami), a young artisan who captures her heart for the first time.
