Geschichte
In the year 2274, Logan (Michael York), a 'Sandman' tasked with terminating 'runners' - citizens attempting to escape their scheduled termination at age 30 in an idyllic domed city - meets Jessica-6 (Jenny Agutter). Soon after, Logan is ordered to infiltrate 'Sanctuary', a rumored community outside the dome. Pursued by his friend Francis (Richard Jordan), another Sandman, Logan and Jessica escape the city and discover a beautiful, virtually uninhabited world outside. Realizing the truth about their society, Logan decides to return to the dome to share this discovery and seek freedom.
