Nineteen-year-old Charles Highway decides it's time for him to have an affair with an older woman before starting at Oxford University. Using a computer program and assisted by his eccentric relatives, he sets his sights on Rachel Noyce, a stunning American in her twenties. However, Rachel has a boyfriend named DeForest and is initially unreceptive to Charles' advances.
