She won Miss USA in 1991 as Miss Kansas USA, becoming the first from her state to do so, and was a finalist at Miss Universe. Transitioning into acting, she played Beth Wallace on 'Passions' (1999-2006), totaling 284 episodes, and had recurring roles in shows like 'Even Stevens' and 'Beverly Hills, 90210'.
