Story
An American woman, wife of a maharajah, inherits five million dollars after his death by an elephant stampede during a leopard hunt. The American insurance company suspects fraud and dispatches an investigator to India to probe the suspicious circumstances. Upon arrival, the investigator starts an affair with the widow while investigating her husband's death. Concurrently, an Indian woman believes her father's disappearance may be connected to the maharajah's murder and begins stalking the widow for evidence.
