Romy Schneider (Rosemarie Magdalena Albach, 1938-1982) was a German-French actress known for her early roles in German Heimatfilms and Austrian Sissi trilogy from 1955 to 1957. She played Empress Elisabeth of Austria in Visconti's Ludwig (1973). Schneider moved to France, where she worked with prominent directors on notable films.

Story
