Vanessa Anne Hudgens, born December 14, 1988 in Salinas, California, is an American actress and singer. She gained fame portraying Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical film series (2006–2008), leading to a recording contract with Hollywood Records. After releasing two studio albums, Hudgens focused on acting, appearing in films like Bandslam (2009), Beastly, Sucker Punch (both 2011), Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, Spring Breakers (2012), and more recently, Tick, Tick...Boom! (2021). She also starred in Netflix Christmas movies and live musical productions. In 2022, Hudgens co-hosted the Met Gala.

Story
In Alaska, State Trooper Jack Halcombe suspects Robert Hansen of being a serial killer who abducts young girls for sexual assault and murder. He lacks sufficient evidence to search Hansen's premises but knows one victim, Cindy Paulsen, survived. Halcombe tracks down Paulsen, now a junkie with trust issues, intending to enlist her help in building a case against Hansen. Meanwhile, Hansen continues his hunting spree.
