After Fall, Winter
Summary
After Fall, Winter is a dramatic romance directed by Eric Schaeffer and released in 2011. The story revolves around Michael, a mid-40s writer who leaves his home in New York for Paris to rekindle his passion for writing and life after feeling suicidal about his dwindling career. Soon after arriving in Paris, he meets Sophie, a nurse with a secret life as a dominatrix. Despite their initial combative chemistry, they quickly become drawn to each other. However, Sophie is also caring for Anais, a little girl dying of leukemia.
