La La Anthony, born Alani Nicole Anthony, is an American actress and television personality. She started her career as an MTV VJ on Total Request Live in the early 2000s. Anthony hosted various reality shows like Flavor of Love, I Love New York, For the Love of Ray J, Real Chance of Love, and Charm School with Ricki Lake. She acted in movies such as Two Can Play That Game (2001), You Got Served (2004), Think Like a Man (2012), and Think Like a Man Too (2014). Anthony's notable TV role was playing Lakeisha Grant in the Starz drama series Power. She also hosted her own reality shows, La La's Full Court Wedding and La La's Full Court Life. Anthony was married to NBA player Carmelo Anthony from 2010 to 2021.

Story
Power follows James 'Ghost' St. Patrick, a wealthy New York entrepreneur who secretly runs an international drug trade catering to the rich and influential. Ghost wants to leave his criminal life behind and provide a legitimate future for himself and his family. His childhood friend and business partner Tommy Egan supports their operation while also serving as Ghost's enforcer. Meanwhile, Ghost is married to Tasha St. Patrick, who plays an active role in managing their legitimate businesses, but struggles with the secrets of her husband's past. Complicating matters further is Angela Valdes, Ghost's first love and Assistant U.S. Attorney, who becomes increasingly involved in investigating his criminal activities.
