Martine Brochard, born in Paris in 1944, debuted in French cinema with a minor role in François Truffaut's 'Baisers volés' (1968). She moved to Italy in 1970 and became known for her work in Italian genre films, TV series, and theater. Brochard has also written two collections of children's stories. In 2003, she was diagnosed with leukemia but recovered.
