Story
In the 1950s Soviet Union, Natasha manages the canteen at a secret research institute. Her life revolves around her work and nights spent drinking with Olga, her younger colleague. Their relationship is tense yet intimate, akin to that of a mother and daughter. Natasha has been involved in an affair with Blinov, a married man. One night, at a party celebrating a sinister radiation experiment led by French scientist Luc Bige, Natasha becomes intimate with Luc.
