Christina Applegate (born November 25, 1971) is an American actress and dancer who started her career as a child actress playing Kelly Bundy on the Fox sitcom 'Married...with Children' from 1987 to 1997. She gained recognition in adulthood for her roles in films such as 'Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead' (1991), 'The Big Hit' (1998), and 'Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy' (2004). Applegate has also appeared in Broadway shows, including a Tony-nominated performance in 'Sweet Charity'. Story
In the 1970s in San Diego, anchorman Ron Burgundy reigns supreme at Channel 4 news, accompanied by his trusted team of sports reporter Champ Kind, weathercaster Brick Tamland, and field reporter Brian Fantana. When ambitious journalist Veronica Corningstone joins the station, she challenges Ron's dominance, causing him to feel threatened and demoted.
