Delphine Seyrig
Full Biography
Delphine Seyrig was a French actress and film director born on April 10, 1932. Born Lebanese, she was active in the feminist movement of the 1970s alongside directors like Chantal Akerman. In 1975, Seyrig formed Les Insoumuses collective with Carole Roussopoulos and Ioana Wieder to create emancipatory videos as political activism tools. She passed away on October 15, 1990.
