Karnpitcha Ketmanee returned to Thailand after living abroad, joining a cultural tour where he met Mekhala, his tour guide. He found himself attracted to her despite some complications: he was married with family, and Mekhala had an unusual relationship with a deadly cobra, potentially hazardous as many of her past suitors had died.
