Lily James (born Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson on April 5, 1989) is an English actress known professionally as Lily James. She attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. After starting her career with British television series like 'Just William' and supporting roles in 'Downton Abbey', she rose to prominence playing Cinderella in the 2015 film. She portrayed Natasha Rostova in the 2016 BBC miniseries 'War & Peace'. James has since appeared in various films such as 'Baby Driver', 'Darkest Hour', and 'Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again'. Her notable role as Pamela Anderson in the 2022 series 'Pam & Tommy' earned her Golden Globe and Emmy nominations.
