Ayla Gresta is a Brazilian actress, singer, composer, and trumpeter from Brasília. She is recognized for her roles in films such as We Still Have the Deep Black Night (2019), where she played the lead character Karen, and O Vazio de Domingo à Tarde (2023). Gresta is also a composer and performer, contributing to the soundtrack of We Still Have the Deep Black Night.
She is the vocalist and trumpeter for the band Ypu, a project formed with her husband, guitarist and producer Gustavo Halfeld. The band, which blends indie rock and psychedelia with lyrics in both English and Portuguese, originated after the couple met on the set of We Still Have the Deep Black Night, where they portrayed band members. Gresta has received awards and nominations for her work in acting. She holds a degree in architecture from the University of Brasília and has also been involved in experimental art groups.
