Carolin Ohrner is a former German actress and current jewelry designer who gained international recognition in the late 1970s. She was born as Carolin Ohrner on December 22, 1961, in Munich, Bavaria, West Germany.
Coming from a prominent artistic family, she is the daughter of director Georg Marischka and actress Eveline Bey. She grew up alongside several well-known siblings, including her half-brother, the popular actor and presenter Thomas Ohrner. Her professional career began early, with her breakthrough role coming in the mid-70s series Das Haus der Krokodile (1976).
In 1978, she expanded her career into European cinema, notably appearing in the Italian Giallo film Enigma rosso (also known as Rings of Fear or Orgie des Todes). Throughout the 1980s and 90s, she remained a steady presence on German television with appearances in iconic series such as Derrick and Tatort. Later in life, she stepped away from the spotlight to settle in Paris, where she works under her married name, Carolin Frydman, as a professional jewelry designer.
