Debbie Thureson is an American actress who was born on October 31, 1953, in Los Angeles, California. She is most recognized for her role as Nancy in the 1983 slasher film The Prey. Her acting career began after she decided to get an agent while still in school.
Thureson's very first acting job was a commercial for a Japanese coffee company, which was also one of actor Kirk Douglas's earliest jobs. In the commercial, filmed in a Beverly Hills home, she played Douglas's maid. She has also appeared in other projects, including the 1979 production Billy. In 2019, Thureson revisited the filming locations for The Prey in Idyllwild, California, and was featured in an extensive interview for the film's Arrow Video release, in which she discussed her experience on set.
