Erin Wu is a Taiwanese American actress known for her dynamic blend of martial arts, dance, and acting skills. Born in Taipei, Taiwan, and raised in the Bay Area, she graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Theater.
Wu gained prominence for her recurring role as Gia in the series The Family Business, and has appeared in notable projects such as the Miramax film Old Dads as Diamelle and in The Idol as a pole dancer. She made her film breakthrough with the lead role of Kia in the Star Wars fan film Dark Legacy. Her career began in music videos, where she showcased her Wushu martial arts expertise (specifically with sword and spear forms) in "Brave" by Gladiator ft. Mothica & Vindata and "Flames" by David Guetta ft. Sia starring Danny Trejo.
Beyond her on-screen work, Wu is a skilled pole dance choreographer and owns an online studio. She is also dedicated to animal welfare, volunteering at animal rescues and using her platform to advocate for international wildlife charities and cruelty-free products.
