Iman Abdulmajid, born Zara Mohamed Abdulmajid on July 25, 1955, is a Somali fashion model, actress, and entrepreneur. She rose to prominence as a supermodel in the 1970s and 1980s, serving as a muse for designers like Gianni Versace, Thierry Mugler, Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, and Yves Saint Laurent. Iman is also known for her philanthropic work. She married rock musician David Bowie in 1992, and they remained together until his death in 2016.
