Jasna Beri (born January 2, 1954, as Jasna Ornela Bery) is a distinguished Bosnian actress with a career spanning over five decades. Born in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, she became a prominent figure in Yugoslav and later Bosnian cinema, appearing in more than 40 films since her debut in 1975. One of her early notable roles was in the 1986 cult classic The Beauty of Vice (Lepota poroka), directed by Živko Nikolić, where she played a memorable part in a story exploring traditional values and sexual liberation.
Throughout her career, Beri has worked with acclaimed directors and gained international recognition for her roles in award-winning films such as Jasmila Žbanić's Grbavica (2006) and Angelina Jolie's directorial debut, In the Land of Blood and Honey (2011). Her versatile filmography also includes performances in Snow (2008), On the Path (2010), and the popular TV series Lud, zbunjen, normalan.
