Jo Newman originated from Massachusetts before relocating to New York City as a teenager, following the path of many aspiring actresses. Her initial acting role in the soap opera "Guiding Light" occurred in 2003, which was followed by appearances in "Sensing Murder," "The Sopranos," "Gossip Girl," "Mayne Street," and "Wainy Days," among other productions.
