Julie Sokolowski, known for her role as Céline van Hadewijch in 'Hadewijch' (2009), was initially an aspirant nun studying at a convent before returning to her parents' home in Paris. She befriended Yassine Chikh, the Muslim teenage brother of religious leader Nassir Chikh.
