Ilva Margarita Perez, professionally known as Kika Perez, is a Colombian-American actress, television presenter, and writer. She was born on April 18, 1979, in Barranquilla, Colombia. Before moving to the United States to pursue her career, she graduated from the Universidad del Norte in 2001 with a degree in Communications and Journalism.
Perez furthered her artistic training at the Creative Workshops School of Acting—the same institution where stars like Sofia Vergara and Gloria Estefan studied. In the film industry, she is most recognized for her leading role as Lizzie Dark in the independent neo-noir thriller One in the Gun (2010). Her career also includes roles in television series such as Dueños del Paraíso (2015) and Isa TKM.
