Kobe Tai began her career in adult films in 1996 and continued until 2003. She attempted a crossover into mainstream film with 'Very Bad Things' in 1998 but retired from acting in mid-2000, returning to porn in 2001. During the peak of her career, Tai married fellow adult actor Mark Davis, whom she met at her birthday party and claimed it was love at first sight. While married, she primarily performed boy-girl scenes with only Davis, despite both maintaining an open relationship. Their marriage ended in 1999.
