Olga Smirnova, a prominent Russian ballet dancer and former prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Ballet, publicly denounced the Russian invasion of Ukraine in March 2022. Following this stance, she resigned from her position at the Bolshoi Ballet and joined the Dutch National Ballet in Amsterdam.
