Petra Vajdová is a prominent Slovak actress born on April 29, 1985, in Martin (though some sources cite Bratislava), Czechoslovakia. Her birth name is Petra Vajdová, and she is the niece of the well-known Slovak actor Jozef Vajda.
She is a distinguished member of the drama ensemble at the Slovak National Theatre (SND), where she has performed in numerous high-profile productions, including the acclaimed theatrical adaptation of Nevesta hôľ (Upland Bride). Vajdová studied acting at the Bratislava Conservatory and later at the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU). Throughout her career, she has received significant recognition, such as the prestigious DOSKY Award for Best Actress in 2016 for her role in Fanny and Alexander.
